I'm New

Welcome

We understand that being new can be stressful. Here are some resources and answers to common questions that we feel will make your visit with us a great experience.
What should I expect when visiting Eastland?
You will be greeted warmly at the door. Our greeters will assist you in finding your way around our facilities. Our goal is to provide a worship experience that is pleasing to God and encouraging to those worshiping.
What should I wear?
The environment at Eastland is relaxed. Some of our members will be in slacks and coats, or dresses, but many will also be in jeans and short-sleeve shirts. Dress comfortably--you will fit right in!
What about my kids?
Eastland is a great place for the whole family. We have a staffed nursery for babies and toddlers during worship and Bible study. We have classes for kids and teens, as well as an age-appropriate worship service for children.
What should I expect during worship?
Our worship service is simple and biblical. Each Sunday, we observe the Lord’s Supper, give as God’s has prospered us, hear a message from God’s word, offer prayers to the Lord, and join together in singing.
How do I get information about becoming a member of the Eastland Church of Christ?
You may speak to the minister or one of the elders of the church. They will be happy to provide you with any information you need. They are also more than happy to sit down with you and discuss the great things going on at Eastland.

A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.
